How does Eyebrow Threading Work?
A piece of thread is taken and twisted on itself as it’s glided along the brow to shape it. The hair is removed from the follicle, but it doesn’t damage the skin. Before the actual threading happens, you’ll be given a consultation to decide on shape. The whole process takes around 15-20 minutes to complete.

Why do People Choose Eyebrow Threading Over Other Brow Treatments?
Since threading only removes the actual brow hair and no skin, it hurts a whole lot less than waxing. The process also allows for more precise brow hair removal, which is great for targeting the finer hairs that usually don’t stick to wax.
Got sensitive skin? Threading is also a great option if you’ve got skin that’s prone to irritation. Clients with skin conditions or sensitivities prefer brow threading to remove their hair because it’s gentler on the skin than and does require the use of any chemical agents.
Eyebrow Threading FAQ
Does it hurt?
Brow Threading is significantly less painful than waxing. While it can still be a little bit uncomfortable, there’s little contact with the skin. There’s also no risk of burning or irritating your skin with wax.
How long does it last?
Like waxing, threading generally lasts two to four weeks, depending on your hair type. However, you may eventually be able to go longer between appointments.
What should I do post-treatment?
Since threading involves removing hair from the root, it opens up the pores. If you have sensitive skin, the first thing we recommend is to apply ice over the area in a circular motion. This constricts the blood vessels and closes pores, in turn reducing swelling and redness.
Is Brow Threading better than waxing?
Brow Threading is better for the face than waxing because it is a mild exfoliation of the skin rather than ripping off the top layer of the epidermis. Most people do not break out after threading like they do after waxing.
Why are groomed brows so important?
The brows frame the face, and are part of your eye area. A well groomed brow will compliment the face shape, open the eye area and give a clean, well kept appearance. Poorly shaped, unkempt brows do nothing to compliment or frame the face.
