Erase the Past Today

advanced technology for tattoo and pigment removal

Veritas Backstage uses the most advanced technology for tattoo and pigment removal, capable of safely eliminating all common colors across all skin types and ethnicities.

Each pigment color absorbs a specific wavelength, and our PiQo4 technology offers four wavelengths—1064nm, 532nm, 650nm, and 585nm—to treat the broadest range of tattoo colors, from light orange to dark black. With PiQo4, we can effectively erase the rainbow.

Removing semi-permanent makeup typically takes 1-3 sessions, sometimes with instant results. Amateur tattoos are generally not as deep as professional ones, making them easier to remove. However, lighter inks, even in amateur tattoos, can still contain a lot of carbon and be harder to remove. The older the tattoo, the easier it is to erase.

Q. What is PiQo4 Laser Technology?

A. PiQo4 laser technology effectively removes tattoos of all common colors, whether amateur or professional. This advanced technology targets both large and small tattoo particles, breaking them into tiny fragments that are naturally eliminated by your body. The laser precisely targets the ink without harming the surrounding skin.

Tattoo ink particles vary in size, and previous technologies could only break down either small or large particles, but not both. The versatility of the PiQo4 allows for precise treatment of varying particle sizes and tattoo colors.

Q. What is the Treatment Like?

A. Your practitioner will provide guidelines for before and aftercare, as well as the approximate duration of the laser removal session. During your session, you will hear the laser fire with loud, audible popping sounds, and feel heat over the treated area, which will feel similar to a sunburn.

Q. When Will I See Results?

A. The number of treatments needed depends on the tattoo, the area of the body, and the background skin color. Consult your practitioner for the most accurate estimate of sessions for each tattoo.

The location of the tattoo matters: the closer it is to the heart, the better the circulation, and therefore, the better the results. More colorful tattoos and larger surface areas usually require more treatments. Amateur tattoos are typically not as deep as professional ones and are easier to remove.

A treatment series can range from 3 to 15 sessions, conducted 6-8 weeks apart.

Q. What Can I Expect After Treatment?

A. Immediately after treatment, you will see a whitish “frosting” over the tattoo. The skin will often swell in the tattoo area, accompanied by mild redness. The frosting, swelling, and redness will resolve within hours. The tattoo may crust or blister as the body repairs itself, which will resolve naturally. The tattoo will fade gradually in the following weeks as your body clears the ink.

Q. Why Choose PiQo4?

A. PiQo4 combines two cutting-edge technologies to clear more colors faster, resulting in better clearance, fewer sessions, and less ghosting than other systems. This includes stubborn turquoise and yellow hues, so you won’t have a shadow of your tattoo as a reminder. The speed and efficiency of the laser make this the fastest road to a tattoo-free you.

Q. Is it Right for Me?

A. PiQo4 laser tattoo removal treatments are not suitable for everyone and carry some risks. Individuals prone to skin keloids may be more susceptible to scarring after any skin trauma, including laser treatment. Persons with dark skin may be at increased risk of hypopigmentation. Both hypo- and hyper-pigmentation are common risks of treatment. Be sure to consult with your treatment provider to determine if this treatment is right for you.
