So, how do lip augmentation procedures work at Veritas Backstage? First, it’s important to note that every mouth is different, and every patient has different goals for the shape and fullness of their lips. That’s why we always begin with an aesthetic evaluation by one of our master injectors.
Once you and your injector are aligned on your ideal outcome, a topical numbing cream is then applied to your lips. With the numbing agent, the procedure should be relatively painless. The number of injections you receive depends on how much filler is needed and what kind of needle is used, but the entire procedure is quick – usually less than 30 minutes.
We use an FDA-Approved Hyaluronic Acid gel filler. Ideal for those with thin or lackluster lips, this filler temporarily increases volume and smooths lines around the mouth for a smile that is equal parts sexy and natural.
The results of non-surgical lip augmentation will last 6-9 months, but can vary person to person depending on your individual metabolic rate.
