How Membership Works
Step 1
You’ll fill out our extensive intake form so that our Veritas Backstage Medical Director, Dr. John Haest, M.S. M.D. has your full medical health history and a comprehensive picture of your present concerns.
Step 2
Once the results from the intake form are reviewed, the Doctor will determine what specific labs you will need to have run (blood, saliva, or urine) – These labs are vital to garnering a complete understanding of what’s happening in your body.
Step 3
Upon receipt of your lab work, you’ll have a telemedicine or in-person consultation with the Doctor to review the findings. At that time the Doctor will walk you through your customized treatment program. Treatement programs often include peptides, supplements, bioidentical hormones, and lifestyle and/or eating regiment modifications.
Step 4
You’ll begin your customized protocol.
Step 5
At the 3 to 6 month mark, another follow-up visit will be scheduled to discuss the effectiveness of your plan, and recommend any necessary modifications. At this time, it may be necessary to run new labs for detailed comparison.
A note regarding labs:
Labs are a vital and necessary component of the Veritas Backstage Wellness Program.
Clinical lab tests allows our Doctor to get a complete understanding of what’s going on “under the hood.” It facilitates the creation of a truly individualized treatment plan and also allows for the early detection and diagnosis of potential health challenges.
Your labs are performed by trusted, third party companies. Because of this, and because each patient will require different labs depending on their unique health needs, the cost of labs is not covered by the Wellness Program membership dues.
Blood test labs are often covered by your health insurance. It’s important that you speak to your health insurance provider as they may have a specific protocol for you to follow in order for your blood work to be covered.
Saliva tests are likely not covered by your insurance. The cost of the basic saliva test is $300, and the entire test can be performed in the privacy of your home.
NOTE: For menstruating women (those who have not reached menopause and still bleed monthly) – lab tests focused on examining hormone must be tested between the 19th to 21st day of the cycle, counting day 1 of bleeding as day 1, and then testing between days 19 – 21.

Membership Terms
- Membership dues are billed on a 30-day cycle
- The minimum membership period for Backstage Wellness memberships is 3 months
- After the initial membership period, you can cancel at any time with a 30 day notice in writing – email help@veritasbackstage.com. Membership credits in your Wallet expire after two years if not used, and membership credits cannot be refunded for any reason.
- Membership is non-transferable and benefits are exclusive to the member only. (Photo ID is required at check-in).
- Members must abide by Veritas Backstage cancellation policy.
- Membership dues are placed in your Wallet to be used towards the membership service for which you are enrolled. However, the credits in your Wallet can be used towards any service except for injectables, and you can access your Wallet online and make appointments. If you would like access please let us know and we will email you a link.
- Membership discounts cannot be combined with any additional offers.
- Gratuities are not included in membership pricing. Our recommended standard gratuity is 18%-20% of the full service fee.
