Permanent Beauty
Permanent Makeup
A considered approach to definition that holds — placed by someone trained to teach it.
Some mornings call for less, not more. Permanent makeup exists for the version of you that does not want to negotiate with a mirror before the day starts. At Veritas Backstage, brows, lips & lashes are treated the way we treat every service here — as a clinical decision made with precision, not a trend applied with a template.
MEET BRIANNA
The work is led by Brianna, a licensed aesthetician and permanent makeup artist. She teaches the standard she practices. Her approach to permanent makeup starts from the same place her teaching does: precision first, enhancement second. Brows and lips are not treated as blank space to fill in — they are structure and proportion already present on the face, and her work is to define what is already there with a steady, practiced hand.
THE EXPERIENCE
Each appointment begins with a consultation — face shape, existing hair growth or lip tone, and the proportions that make sense for the individual client. A topical numbing agent is applied before work begins. Sessions run two to three hours depending on the service.
Pigment appears bolder in the first several days than its final, settled tone. Brows may look fuller and more defined; lips may look deeper in color. This is expected. Skin heals over the following two to four weeks, and pigment settles to a softer, more natural result.
What We treat
Permanent Makeup Brows
Permanent makeup brows are a customized treatment designed to enhance your natural brows with beautiful, long-lasting results. During your consultation, we’ll determine the technique that best suits your skin type, lifestyle, and desired look. Whether it’s Microblading, Nano Brows, Combo Brows, or Powder Brows, every treatment is tailored to create balanced, natural-looking brows that complement your unique features.
Brow Lamination
Brow lamination smooths and redirects your natural brow hairs to create a fuller, more defined appearance. This treatment helps tame unruly hairs, enhances sparse areas, and provides a polished, lifted look. Brow shaping and an optional tint are included for a beautifully finished result.
Lip Blush
Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural color, shape, and definition of your lips. This treatment creates a soft, natural tint while improving symmetry and giving the lips a more youthful appearance. Each color is customized to complement the client’s skin tone and desired results, leaving lips looking fresh, healthy, and naturally beautiful.
Lash lift: a gentle solution curls and lifts natural lashes from the root for a longer, more defined look.
Lash tint: a semi-permanent dye darkens lashes for the look of mascara without the daily routine. Results last 6 to 8 weeks.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Permanent makeup is appropriate for anyone who wants to spend less time each morning re-creating the same shape, line, or color — and more time simply living in it. It is well suited to clients with thinning or sparse brows, uneven brow growth, or lips that have lost natural pigment and definition. It fits within any of the three Veritas aging pathways and requires no downtime beyond the initial healing window.
Clients who are pregnant or nursing, have active skin conditions in the treatment area, or are on certain blood thinners may not be candidates for this service. Brianna reviews health history at consultation to confirm the right fit.
Results and maintenance
Permanent makeup is not a single-appointment result. The initial application is followed by a touch-up six to eight weeks later, once healing is complete and pigment has settled into its true tone — this second session is part of the base service, not an optional add-on, and fills in any areas that faded unevenly during healing.
From there, pigment fades gradually and predictably over one to three years, depending on skin type, sun exposure, and skincare routine. Most clients return for a color refresh once fading becomes noticeable — typically twelve to eighteen months after the touch-up — rather than waiting until pigment has faded completely. Coming back before pigment is fully gone keeps shape and tone consistent and is a faster, less involved appointment than starting over.
Daily SPF over the treated area and avoiding retinoids or other exfoliating actives directly on brows or lips both extend how long pigment holds true to its original tone.
