Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow enhancement that mimics real hair strokes. The technique used in Microblading ensures that the hair strokes are crisp and clean, to look like individual hairs.

    what Is a Microblading?

This cosmetic semi-permanent makeup treatment is performed using, a manual, disposable handheld tool with very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade (that’s why we call it a microblade). With microblading, we draw each individual hair and simultaneously implant the pigment into the skin.

Each new hair stroke that is drawn is meant to simulate your natural eyebrow hair and seamlessly blend it with your existing brows to add color and fullness resulting in a very natural look with results that are gorgeous yet undetectable

    How Long Does It Last?

Microblading will generally last 12-18 months but can also stay for several years. Age and lifestyle have much to do with this.

    Is Microblading Painful?

Every person has varying levels of sensitivity, but the major consensus is that microblading is not painful. Topical numbing cream is appthe treated area 30-45 minutes prior to the service and continually throughout. This will ensure you will feel little to no pain in your eyebrow area.

How Many Sessions Are Needed In Order To Achieve The Best Look Possible?

Microblading is a two-step procedure and consists of an Initial Session and a Perfecting Session. In microblading, you can only achieve 50-75% of the desired result at a time. The skin needs proper healing time in order to be able to add more hair marks between the existing hair marks. A Volume Boost is a service for anyone who has already gone through the Initial and Perfecting Sessions and just wants more! Clients who have already completed both the Initial and Perfecting Sessions will receive complementary touch-ups, on small sections that need a quick fix.

    What to Expect During Treatment

The first appointment is called the Initial Session:

    • We will first take “before” pictures, so we can document your original shape and the changes in your eyebrows
    • Next, we will apply a topical numbing cream on and around your eyebrow, then you will sit and relax in our comfortable lounge for 30 minutes of numbing
    • Then, you will be given a very detailed consultation in order to ensure that you and your microblading technician are on the same page with the desired results
    • During your detailed consultation, we will pigment match for your specific hair and skin color
    • A professional evaluation and measurement of your eyebrows will also take place in order to ensure a natural and youthful appearance of the brows
    • Only when you’re happy and have approved of everything, we will get started with the actual blading process
    • Once your brows have received as much enhancement as they can for one session, we will seal the pigment to achieve the best-healed results
    • We will take an “after” photo of your brows to show the comparison from the original photo
    • Lastly, upon making sure that you are over the moon for your new brow shape and color, we will then schedule you for your Perfecting Session! *Don’t forget Microblading is a multi-step process (a minimum of two sessions required)

The second appointment is called the Perfecting Session:

    • This session is always scheduled between 4-6 weeks after the Initial Session. This will give your skin enough time to process the pigment that has been deposited, and to fully heal
    • Don’t worry if you have any oops moments during your first weeks of healing. We will re-add any marks that may have not healed properly, or were accidentally removed during your healing process
    • We will also check your brow shape and color, adjusting and adding anything that may be needed
    • During this time we will do anything that is needed to “perfect” your Microbladed brows

    Aftercare Process:

The visible healing process can take up to 14 days. To prolong your results, follow the below after care instructions for two weeks following your session.

    • No makeup should be applied on the brows
    • Avoid water contact with the brow area- if they do get wet, lightly pat with a clean towel
    • Do not touch, scratch or rub your brows- you will find that the brows will begin to scab and itch, but Do NOT scratch! Just lightly tap for relief
    • Avoid tanning beds, saunas and steam rooms and excessive sweating, this can cause your strokes to blur and color to grey.
    • Avoid direct sun exposure- this is cause the pigment to quickly fade
    • Avoid using skincare products directly on the brows
    • Wait to schedule any facial treatments until the area if fully healed or with a esthetician knowledgeable in microblading needs.
